I recently just returned from a virtual cooking class with Japan ByFood and Miyuki-san of SimplyOishii in Tokyo, Japan! Let me take you on an Osaka-style okonomiyaki making experience and a side dish called Tataki Kyuri or Japanese pounded cucumber pickle! You can look forward to a cooking class in Tokyo with Miyuki-san in the future or an online class like me in the meantime 😉

Shinkansen Tokyo to Osaka, Fastest Bullet Train in Japan
Just when I was getting all hyped up by my newly-found
appreciation for Tokyo, the time had come for us to leave and experience
another part of Japan – Osaka! We cruised at warp speed via the newest Japanese bullet train, the Shinkansen N700 Series!
My Must-See Places In Tokyo
I’d finally made it back to Japan and it was freakin’ cold
there in February! I thought it would take me a while to come back since the tsunami struck. Although I only had a few days to prepare, this was an
opportunity I wouldn’t miss. Japan is as beautiful as my first trip, both Tokyo
and Osaka. This is a list of places / areas / attractions that have left an impression and those that I enjoyed visiting in Tokyo during those 2 trips.

Sunshine City Prince Hotel Ikebukuro Tokyo – Where to Stay in Japan
I stayed at the Sunshine City Prince Hotel in Tokyo for 3 nights during my 7-day Japan trip. I went there last February 2012. I rate it 4 out of 5 stars by my standards when it comes to staying at a 3-star and up hotel for the spacious room, amenities and location.
Tokyo Disneyland or DisneySea?
When going to Tokyo for the first time, a Disneyland Resort visit is almost always included in the itinerary. If you have only one day allocated for the Happiest Place on Earth in Tokyo though, would you choose Tokyo Disneyland or Tokyo DisneySea?
From Kuala Lumpur to Tokyo with AirAsia X
Pinoys are all too familiar with AirAsia. It’s a low-cost carrier based in Malaysia and operates flights from Clark (Diosdado Macapagal International Airport, Airport Code: CRK) in the Philippines.
I flew with AirAsia from Clark to Kuala Lumpur recently. Have you heard about AirAsia X though? From Kuala Lumpur, it was a long and comfortable ride aboard AirAsia X to Tokyo for me.
