Dagupan, a city in Pangasinan (Philippines), is known for the annual Bangus Festival. It's a super long celebration this 2012 and it will happen from April 13, 2012 to May 1, 2012.
Watch out for schedules and updates about the festival in the Dagupan Bangus Festival official website.
As for the Dawel River Cruise in Dagupan, it's an ecotour and a chance to be closer to the bangus (milkfish) where they are being farmed, mangroves, migratory birds and the ruins of the tracks of the Philippine National Railways' former Northern Luzon line. The cruise is still free today although they may begin charging fees soon.
This river cruise was inspired by the Bohol Loboc River Cruise.
